Finding the perfect lake for your carp fishing in France holiday is important — and the Lac de Lumière (Lake of Light) doesn't disappoint. An exclusive, natural limestone spring-fed lake of around 5 acres, set in the peaceful French countryside of the Loire Valley.
Several bays and areas to fish, depths averaging 2 to 6 metres, and 4 spacious double swims made for anglers' comfort — accommodating 3 (or 4 on request) on their carp fishing holiday in France.

We are delighted to have been presented with the Bronze Armed Forces Covenant award. The principles and ethos of the covenant match our own.
Through our work with Phoenix Heroes CIC we've made carp fishing holidays available to veterans and serving forces under the guidance of PTSD professionals. With our 3-bedroom accommodation, we can now involve their families too.

While the carp fishing at Lac de Lumière is great, you won't want to miss the other wonderful spots in the area. The Loire region is magical — primarily a wine-producing region known for Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé — with Renaissance castles and picturesque villages around every bend.

Lac de Lumière is located in the Loire Valley wine region, one of the world's most well-known areas of wine production. It includes several French wine regions situated along the river from the Muscadet region on the Atlantic coast to the regions of Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé just southeast of the city of Orléans in north central France.
